A Whole Lot of Storytelling

It’s been a little while since I’ve posted here. Not because I haven’t had anything to say, but because I’ve been busy telling everyone else’s stories. And honestly? That’s one of the best problems to have.
Over the last few months, I’ve had the privilege of helping authors get booked on podcasts, writing feature articles for regional magazines, ghostwriting newsletters and website content, developing social media plans & writing a ton of posts, and pitching speakers and entrepreneurs to media outlets and event organizers. The common thread in all of it? Storytelling.
Whether it’s a podiatrist practice in Delaware or a keynote speaker teaching audiences how to find their "Happy Place," every project starts with the same question:
What’s the story here, and how can we tell it in a way that gets people to care?
Clients Doing Cool Things
I recently helped author Doug Norton land appearances on both the SOFREP and Veterans Outlook podcasts. The folks at SOFREP were so impressed that they invited him to write a column for their site. Doug chose me to increase exposure for his Code Word series of espionage thrillers (Code Word: Precipice is the latest), and that’s exactly what we’re doing: one story, one pitch at a time.
Dr. Gary Sprouse (aka The Less Stress Doc) has been steadily gaining traction, too. He’s speaking at Rotary Clubs and community groups, appearing on podcasts plus we're building buzz around his award-winning book Highway to Your Happy Place: A Roadmap to Less Stress. My job is to help his message of less stress and more fulfillment reach the people and organizations that need it most. Spoiler: that’s basically everyone.
Entrepreneur, speaker & author Kelvin Abrams was recently featured on the cover of two magazines in his region, highlighting his personal brand and business mindset, combined with an article I had the pleasure of writing. I've also coordinated bourbon tasting events at one of his businesses, K-9 and Coffee Lounge, helping to bring new customers to this hidden gem in Glenelg, Maryland.
The Takeaway?
It doesn’t matter if you’re a startup, a seasoned pro, or somewhere in between. If you have a mission, product, service or message you believe in, there’s someone out there who needs to hear your story.
And if you’re not sure where to start or how to get it out there, that’s where I come in.
